Overview:

The Revitalization Committee focuses on the improvement of the Warrenton NC, downtown business district. It coordinates annual festivals on the courthouse square, including the Eastern Blue Bird Fest in April, Harvest Market activities in October and the Christmas parade in December.

In parallel with town events, the Revitalization Committee has embarked on a long term planning effort to bring business and culture to downtown Warrenton, NC. To accomplish this we have partnered with the North Carolina Main Street organization to help focus our efforts with organizational structure guidance, training, and access to NC programs that help enrich small towns like ours around the state and country.

Organization Committee -  Governs the other sub-committee from a town leadership and oversight perspective and consist of the Town Administrator, an appointed City Council Member, a Warrenton Area Business Association(WABA) representative and the chair member from each supporting committee.

Promotions - Is made of of local business owners and residents of Warrenton NC and the greater surrounding area with the mission to promote the town and the initiatives of the committee as a whole.

Design - Includes local civic leader, business owners and residents of Warrenton NC, and the greater surrounding area chartered to meld Warrenton's rich history and rural farm community into a future vision for growth and development while maintaining small town grace and charm.

Economic Vitality - Participating from local religious, business and development leaders from Warrenton NC, and the greater surrounding area, tasked to engage local business and civic organization to fostering a dynamic local economy through cooperation.
