Water Sewer Department

The Town operates the Water Sewer Department which provides service throughout the Town and local area. Both water and sewer system are maintained by the Town with the cost of providing the service and maintaining the system borne entirely by user rates supplemented by grants wherever possible.  The water is produced by the Kerr Lake Regional Water Authority and purchased from Warren County.  Requests for information and service should be directed to the Water Sewer Department service window at Town Hall from 8:30am-4:30pm weekdays, phone number 257-3315.  After hours emergencies such as water main breaks and sewer backups should be reported to 911.
